Victor Anthony Kiam III (January 31, 1926 – October 17, 2001) was an American entrepreneur, businessman, and philanthropist best known for his marketing slogan "You've got to try it to believe it" and his acquisition of the Remington Rand Corporation, which led to the creation of Remington Products.
