Tommy Bond (July 18, 1934 – August 6, 1986) was an American child actor, best known for his role as Alfalfa in the Our Gang/The Little Rascals series. Born Thomas Edward Bond Jr. in Los Angeles, California, he grew up in a showbiz family; his father, Thomas Sr., was a comedian and actor, and his mother, Betty Colette, was an actress. Tommy made his acting debut at the age of three in a 1937 Our Gang short titled "The Little Rower." He joined the cast as a regular character, Alfalfa Spitzer, in 1938, a role he would play until the series ended in 1944.
