"Life is not about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."
This quote by Nigel Cole suggests that our lives are not predestined to reveal an inherent identity; rather, it's up to us to shape and mold ourselves into the individuals we want to become. It encourages personal growth, self-discovery, and the pursuit of one's own unique path in life, emphasizing that our actions and experiences play a significant role in defining who we are. Essentially, it's a call to take control of our lives and actively create ourselves, rather than passively waiting for our true selves to emerge.
"The more love you give away, the more you receive."
The quote by Nigel Cole underscores the principle that giving love selflessly can lead to receiving love in abundance. This idea emphasizes that love is not a finite resource, but rather an energy that multiplies when shared with others. By extending love and compassion, we create connections, foster relationships, and encourage reciprocity, thus receiving more love in return. In essence, this quote encourages us to embody generosity and vulnerability as we navigate our social interactions, as it is through this openness that we can cultivate a rich, fulfilling life filled with meaningful connections.
"Every sunrise is an invitation to brighten someone's day."
The quote by Nigel Cole, "Every sunrise is an invitation to brighten someone's day," conveys that each new day offers a fresh opportunity to positively impact others. Just as the sunlight breaks through darkness at dawn, we too can bring light into people's lives with our kindness, empathy, and positive actions. This simple yet profound message encourages us to take advantage of every moment and seek out ways to make someone's day brighter, whether it be with a friendly smile, a word of encouragement, or a small act of generosity.
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts."
This quote emphasizes resilience and perseverance in the face of success or failure. The author suggests that both success and failure are transient; they do not define one's ultimate worth or destiny. What truly matters is the courage to press on after an achievement (success) or setback (failure), demonstrating a strong character and determination that will eventually lead to long-term success. In other words, it's essential to maintain hope and tenacity throughout one's journey towards their goals.
"Happiness is a journey, not a destination."
Nigel Cole's quote suggests that happiness is not something to be found at a specific point in time or place, but rather it is a continuous process of growth, experiences, and learning that one embarks on throughout their life. It implies that the pursuit of happiness should focus on the journey itself - appreciating each moment, finding joy in simple things, and cherishing relationships and experiences along the way, as opposed to only seeking an end goal or destination. This mindset fosters a more fulfilling and contented life, emphasizing the importance of living in the present while continuing to evolve and grow.
I can't find anything wrong with Ashton Kutcher. I think he's great. It's odd that in America there's a very mixed reaction to him. I think those that have only seen him on 'Punk'd' or 'That 70s Show' get him wrong. There's much more to him than those characters or that persona he plays in those shows.

I think your 20s are the hardest part of life. I mean, everyone goes on about how hard it is to be a teenager, but actually I think it's tougher to be in your 20s because you're expected to be a grownup and expected to earn your own living and be successful and I think you feel like a kid still.

Amongst my friends, I am known as the most cynical person they know - I'm incredibly cynical. I don't believe in God, I don't believe in the supernatural, I don't believe in anything! And I'm terribly cynical, and somehow or other, all three of my films and much of my television work has been rather sentimental, and 'heartwarming'.

I think films about men are often about characters who don't want to express their feelings. You're supposed to kind of admire them for not expressing their feelings. And I feel that's a bit dull. Women's stories often have stronger emotional content, which I enjoy doing. What I really love doing is mixing that with humor.
