About Kim Il-Sung

Kim Il-Song (1912-1994), born as Kim Songju, was a political leader, military general, and the founding father of North Korea. He served as the country's Prime Minister from 1948 to 1972 and as the President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly from 1972 until his death in 1994.
